United States Senator Charles Grassley is leading an investigation into several prominent televangelists, the "not-for-profit" 501(c)(3) status of their churches/parachurches/ministries, and the relationship of those not-for-profits to their private for-profit ventures and personal lifestyles. Subjects of the investigation are Paula White, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Eddie Long, Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn.

It's a crying shame when a story breaks involving the United States Senate and six highly-visible Christian ministers and there's nobody in the whole affair we feel comfortable cheering for.
