Holy Spirit
From Neoredemptive
Who is the Holy Spirit, what does He do, what is our role with respect to Him and His with respect to us, what are the "gifts of the Spirit" and how do they work, what does it mean to "worship in Spirit", what is the meaning of the word "baptism" when used in connection with the Spirit, what marks are expected in the believer's life as a result of the working, moving, indwelling, and empowering of the Holy Spirit, etc?
A Neo-Redemptive Pneumatology
Third person of the trinity - God very God, co-eternal with the Father and with Jesus Christ. See theology for a quick snapshot.
We do not believe that an active, vivid, powerful, experience-rich life in the Holy Spirit requires that we be or become:
- Flakes
- Weirdos
- Insensitive
- Triumphal
- Arrogant
- Flighty
Quite to the contrary, we believe that the work of the Holy Spirit should be making us the most sensible, considerate, loving, patient, strong, grounded, wise, healthy people on earth.
