Our enemy. The deceiver, whose native language is lies. The accuser of the brethren. He was the serpent in Eden, he was the tempter of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his authority was broken on the cross, and he now awaits his final punishment -- the lake of burning sulfur into which he will be cast by a victorious and just King Jesus who comes to make all things new.
