Synopsis

A very readable synopsis of God's Empowering Presence, Fee's masterful study of the Pneumatology of the Apostle Paul.

Spirit baptism. Spiritual gifts and their use, practice, availability, and regulation. Ethics and the Spirit. The meaning and scope of the Spirit's "empowerment". The relationship between our life "in the Spirit" now and the final consumation of the Kingdom (the eschaton or "end").

Adam's Take

This book demonstrates, in short form, why Fee rocks. If you have the stomach for it, get God's Empowering Presence, and read his study on 1 Corinthians; well worth however long it may take you to plow through it.
