When Jesus comes back He's going to have a tat on His thigh saying "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" (Revelation 19:16). So apparently tattoos aren't really a problem in Jesus' eyes.

Having said that, one thing always bears repeating: don't be stupid.

• If you live in your parents' household, then you need to honor your father and your mother. If this means not getting a tattoo, then you need to wait.
• Your skin will not forever remain as smooth, tight, supple, and sculpted as it is today. Think about what that tat is going to look like when you're 70 before you take the plunge.
• Practicing body modification because it's a popular or trendy thing to do is foolish. Popular trends fade fast, tattoos fade very slowly.
• Practicing body modification because it's rebellious, painful, or destructive is not in keeping with Christian love for God and one another.
